God's providential dealings with James and Eileen are a prominent  feature of this missionary biography. Although serving Jesus Christ in different parts of Dublin the Lord brought them into contact with each other. Soon love blossomed, leading to marriage and their setting up home in Galway to serve Christ under the umbrella of the Reformed Presbyterian  Irish Mission. The rest of the story encapsulates the opportunities and challenges of mission work in the developing city of Galway in the closing decades of the 20th century.
