"Under the Sun" might sound like an alluring invitation to a tropical paradise, where we are able to get away from the pressures of life. But for the Preacher of Ecclesiastes, "under the sun" describes where we live and experience frustration and futility. His message, though, is not to bring us despair but to give us wisdom and hope in the God who lives and reigns on high.
